Alessia Patregnani
ALESSIA PATREGNANI is an Italian actress. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she is involved in several projects as a performer and producer. She achieved a solid experience in music, theatre and dance by working with significant directors , visual artists and composers both in Italy and Los Angeles.
She attended the Acting School at Teatro Stabile de L’Aquila (Italy) and post-graduate courses at the Accademia D’Arte Drammatica “Silvio D’Amico” in Rome. She studied piano at the Conservatory “Luisa D’Annunzio” , Pescara ( Italy) and graduated in Literature at La Sapienza University,
Rome ( Italy) with a thesis in Anthropology.
Her most significant teachers include : Eugenio Barba, G. Strehler,L. Squarzina, R. Guicciardini, Giancarlo Sepe, Jean Paul Denizon ( Peter Brook’s Company , Paris) , Peter Clough ( Guidhall School Music and Drama, London), Susan Batson, Anne Bogart ( Siti Company N.Y. ) , Butoh dancer Masaki Iwana and coreographer Rudy Perez. She took part in several productions of Teatro Stabile de l’Aquila and Teatro Stabile of Rome working with Pippo Del Bono, Massimiliano Farau, Filippo Crivelli, Mariano Rigillo, Nini Ferrara, Pierfrancesco Favino, Lorenzo Salveti.
As a narrator she gaves readings of Dante’s works at the “Tor Vergata” University in Rome.
Since 2004 she has been involved in experimental and physical theatre performances at Teatro La Comunità in Rome, headed by Giancarlo Sepe. She participated in projects with visual artists ( including Bill Viola) and classic and contemporary composers (Claude Debussy, Francis Poulenc, Saint-Saens, Goffredo Petrassi, Matteo D’Amico, Ada Gentile, Giorgio Nottoli and Ennio Morricone).
She is a voice over talent in Italian ( movies, documentaries, Rosetta Stone, RADIO RAI )
